LIVING ON TOP

One of the last existing towers for gas storage in Germany, this structure had been rebuilt as a bunker, and was later used for multiple storage.

​It was restored to it´s original form and now partly accommodates a historical museum.

Above the original structure, twelve unique circular housing units were created by Ingenbleek Architects, with a 360 degree view of the heart of Berlin.

An adjacent building with loft apartments was also built, echoing the round geometry of the tower.

I was involved in the development of these circular houses, as well as of the adjacent buildings´ lofts.
