UPSCALE COTTAGEI renovated an old farmhouse into an upscale cottage, complete with three separate living units. This included major redesign of the interior layout as well as regrafting the electrical, water and heating systems. Gutting the previous interior, the main floor´s living room was enlarged; the kitchen and two rooms transformed into an open concept, with new exits into the garden; and a central brick chimney tying these spaces together. The staircase was designed and positioned to suit both downstairs and upstairs more comfortably and functionally. The upper floor was maximized into two separate living units, with full kitchens, and beautiful views.    |
